MCO K-9 Security
Art Direction & Photo Production
The Challenge: As a long-term creative partner for Orlando International Airport (MCO), I was tasked with humanizing the airport's high-stakes security force. The goal was to honor the K-9 units of the Orlando Police Department and Customs & Border Protection through a premium, stakeholder-focused engagement piece.
The Execution: I served as both Art Director and Lead Photographer, capturing all original imagery on-site in high-security zones. I managed the end-to-end production of a 13-month calendar, translating my photography into engaging "personality profiles" for airport stakeholders and employees.
The Results: The calendar became a coveted "desk essential" across the Aviation Authority, significantly boosting internal morale. This project proved my ability to lead full-scale content production and served as the creative foundation for MCO’s future pet-centric branding.
MCO Paw Pilots
Brand Identity & Engagement System
The Challenge: After years of partnering on integrated campaigns for Orlando International Airport (MCO), I was tapped to brand their new passenger-experience initiative: the MCO Paw Pilots. The goal was to reduce travel stress through a professional yet approachable therapy dog program.
The Execution: I developed the core identity and a scalable brand system that balanced aviation aesthetics with pet-centric storytelling. To drive engagement, I designed a collectible trading card system for the dogs, turning a simple passenger interaction into a gamified brand touchpoint.
The Results: Launched in 2019, the program is now a permanent MCO fixture. My engagement strategy transformed a pilot program into a viral success, spawning a full merchandise line of collectible pins and apparel. It’s a prime example of how strategic design can turn a customer service moment into a beloved, multi-channel brand.
